    Hi Chris,

Are you using windows-64bit as the target platform? As InstallBuilder since version 19.5.0 supports building native 64 bit installers the <windows64bitMode>, <wow64FsRedirection> and <wowMode> are no longer required and will be ignored.

    Regards,

    Michiel

    Hey Michiel,

Yup, I've set Build Platform to Windows 64 bits on the Packaging screen. In the generated installer's name, ${platform_name} is replaced with windows-x64. Thanks,

    Chris

    Hey Michiel,

Still no luck after cross-grading from 19.5 Enterprise to 19.7 Professional.

    I can confirm it's building a 64-bit installer:

But InstallBuilder's built-in registry entries still end up under WOW6432Node in the registry:

I'm unable to retrieve these keys using the registryGet action, regardless of whether I use wowMode. In fact, the only way I'm able to retrieve InstallMaker's built-in keys (or any 32-bit keys) is by specifying the Wow6432Node key explicitly - a practice discouraged in the user guide.

However, I do notice that 64-bit keys set via the registrySet action are created, and can be retrieved using the registryGet action.

    Hi Chris,

It looks like a bug in the Windows x64 target. Could you create a case in our private support?
