    Hi John,

Unfortunately it's not possible to change the width of the README window. However, you could use a <showText> dialog instead, which does allow changing the size. The following example in our userguide shows how to add a <showText> dialog to the <finalPageActionList>:

    Best regards,

    Hi Michiel,

    When will this change?

This is a shortcoming that causes the end result to look unprofessional.

The de facto width for pure text files is 80 columns - but the default license and readme windows do not support that, nor is there an option to correct this software limitation.

I understand that we the user can create a custom workflow to override the default bitrock workflow so that we have our own license display and readme -- however that's a lot of extra work for something that should be out of the box. We originally chose bitrock because it was suppose to make things easier (and many things are) but then important display options like this are much harder.

    Thank you,

    John Rocha

    Hi John,

It's currently in our backlog to be implemented, but unfortunately I can't provide you with a time estimate. Could you send a screenshot of the README page? Also, could you tell me on which platform  and with which IB version you are testing it on?

    Best regards,

    Michiel

    Hello Michiel,

    We are using: 18.5.2

We use it primarily with: Windows 10, 8 and 7 (mainly 10), but a few Linux installers too.

The QA complaint was against the installer for Windows 10.

An example of the text read me issue is shared at the end.
