    Instead of using open, could you call it as stated below?:

    "/Path To My Updater/myupdater.app/Contents/MacOS/installbuilder.sh" --mode unattended --installdir "/Path To My Application"

    For those who run into the same problem as we did here is some more information about how we eventually solved it.

    First off, as Juanjo suggested: --installdir "/Path to my application" Where the path is a the full path to the application without any escape characters (i.e. "/volumes/HD/applications/my application.app"). While Bitrock will work with just "/applications/my application.app", we had problems using the path calling certain other apps during the installation program.

    The second part of our problem wasn't bitrock related but had to do with the environment we work in (Omnis Studio). It's "launch application" command did something funky. In the end the only way I got it to work is to write a bit of applescript that would start the installer.
