We're trying to run our MacOS installer in an unattended mode; however it requires root privileges. The problem is that when using sudo to run the installer we're still getting prompted for the root password.
This is covered in 13.1. Requiring Administrator Privileges [http://installbuilder.bitrock.com/docs/installbuilder-userguide/ar01s13.html] where it says:
This will require the end user to have root privileges on Unix platforms (possibly using sudo to invoke the installer) or Administrator privileges on Windows. If the user does not have the appropriate privileges, an error will be displayed and the installer will exit. In the case of OS X, the user will be prompted with an Admin password dialog to raise its privileges.
Is there any work around we can use that will get the installer to honor the sudo command?
