    Hi,

Are there any files -perhaps hidden files - left in the installdir? Also setting the <uninstallationLogFile> destination to the installdir might cause the folder from not being deleted. Could you check if this is the case?

    Regards,

    Michiel D'Hont

InstallBuilder will remove the installation directory if it is empty. There should be no need to delete the installation directory at all.

Can you create a sample project with just a few files and verify that the installation directory is removed properly after uninstaller finishes?

If it is indeed deleted with the sample project, can you try to remove actions and/or subset of files from your project to see if you can identify which set of files/directories could be causing the installation directory not to be removed?

    Hi:

I saw this post.  My employer is requiring that the $(installdir) be removed EVEN if there are files in it at the end of the uninstall process. Is there a way to tell BitRoc to remove the $(installdir) even if there are files left in it that were not put there by install?

Better yet, warn the user then proceed if the answer is YES go ahead anyways?
